HOW TO TELL A LOVE STORY

Telling a love story is much the same as telling any other story. There has to be three acts, a dark night of the soul, an epiphany, a resolution - all the things you’ll find in every good and compelling story ever written, from Romeo and Juliet to Fifty Shades of Grey.

And this French public service commercial is the perfect example of the story teller’s art.

But if you’re easily offended, don’t watch.

But if you’re easily amused, like me - and a student of story … like me - then you absolutely must!

  1. Irene Adam says:

Thank you. Made me laugh and helped warm me up. Temp is -20 F with a NW wind blowing across the open prairie feels like -40 F. They call it God’s Country but when it’s like this I sometimes wonder why do I live in this God forsaken country. Been all over the world to many warm and exotic places but always come back here because it’s home and family and old friends are here. They are good to me and I miss them. Go figure.

    • Irene, where I live it goes 40C in the other direction and that drives me nuts too. Best climate I ever lived was Barcelona but even then in August everyone leaves the city because the humidity is just unbearable. I guess the search for the perfect place goes on!
