Have you ever seen a barman talking in Japanese to three German Shepherds with lightning reflexes and a sense of humor?
You have? Then I guess you won’t want to read till the end and see this week’s video. But if you haven’t, I think you’ll find this week’s clip hilarious.
I also laughed out loud at Myndi Shafer’s IF CATS RULED THE SILVER SCREEN. I just loved the moggy that plays ‘As Time Goes By’ for Ingrid Bergman in ‘Casablanca.’ Classic.
“The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.” - Charles Bukowski.
I loved this quote and I thought the post that went with it was thought provoking. Head over to Amber West’s A Day Without Sushi to read it. She does her own stunts.
I also liked this post on the same subject: 5 Most Efficient Ways to Keep Your Calm Amidst Doubt.
Because some of us do doubt ourselves occasionally (read: Every Day) and wonder if we’re smart enough, talented enough, fast enough, good enough. That’s why I loved this post from Jodie Hedlund: “10 TRAITS THAT ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN TALENT.’
Someone who should have no doubts at all about her dancing talent is Susie Lindau. You have to check this out. And if you aren’t a part of her ‘USE ME AND ABUSE ME DAY’, then head over there now.
And finally, I did love the ‘PARENT RAP.’ You’ll find it halfway down the page at Amy Shojai’s page right here.
And so to the Soda Reservoir Dogs.
I’ve watched it a dozen times and it still cracks me up. And the guy who owns the bar is a natural; is he really talking Japanese? I think he’s faking it; I suspect it’s a dialect of Cantonese, with a few words of Tagalog.

When Michael Sheridan leaped into the Whangpoa River to save a woman he barely knew, his life changed irrevocably. A Russian refugee, Anastasia Romanov bears an uncanny resemblance to the princess of the same name, who was rumored to have survived the brutal murder of her family at the hands of Bolshevik revolutionaries …
Love the reservoir dogs video! And thanks for the linky love.
这几只狗神经病。
你也是!
I want those dogs!
Thanks for all those links Colin…..Great fun especially the dogs in the pub.
It’s an old clip, mid eighties I think. Absolutely timeless though. I love the pub owner; he’s a natural performer, just like the dogs.
Thanks for the links - and for including mine!
Thanks for the shout out Colin! Hey, you’ve got some pretty good moves on the dance floor too!
I will enjoy going through these links!
