SHUNDAY MASH

Today’s Shunday Mash is all about inspiration. You should never give up, even when the odds are stacked right against you and all seems lost.

I have something to show you in a while so you’ll see what I mean.

But first …

INFESTASHUN: This is probably not the most feel-good post you’ll ever read but it makes you appreciate living in the 21st century. I’m sure there were a lot of good things about the good old days, but this wasn’t one of them. It’s the history of bed bugs by Maggie Anderson. Very funny.

LIFE TUISHUN: The brilliant Marcy Kennedy was at Myndi Shafer’s blog a little while ago, but I only just got to it. Her post is called Life Lessons from a Great Dane. She also has the perfect answer for ‘What do you feed that thing?’ Love it.

FICSHUN: Wonderful post from Colleen Patrick on writing fiction, and what makes it great. Some wonderful quotes here. Find it here at her blog.

INSPIRASHUN: This is from the wonderful August McLaughlin; it’s about a woman who survived a rape attempt in a foreign country. It will send a shiver up your spine. Inspiring.

NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISISHUN: Found this at Sara Wolpert Foster’s blog. It’s called ’50 Shades of Are You F-ing Kidding Me’ so that should give you a clue as to what this is about. I love the way she wrote this. Take a look at this and see what you think about the questions she raises. Brilliant.

EXPLORASHUN: Cora Ramos read Sara’s post and had some further thoughts on the subject. You should read both posts. They both make some excellent points on a very topical subject. Find Cora’s blog here.
