LETS ALL PLAY A TRICK ON A HOMELESS PERSON

I’m feeling pretty crap at the moment, life has not been good lately, so I thought I’d make myself feel better by playing a trick on a homeless person.

Let’s rip up their sign!!

That was fun. To have even more fun, you can donate to this homeless veteran’s fund right here.

It could help the guy get an apartment, food for six months, new clothes for job interviews, maybe even start a new life. I hope so.

So here it is. I’m playing it forward. Nothing like a good prank.

I wrote this into my journal a long time ago. Funny how I knew where to find it.

I drove past a man holding a cardboard sign, “Could use a little help.” I had $10 in my purse and I didn’t know where the next $10 was going to come from. I was on the opposite side of the road, and it would make a good story about turning around and giving him half, but I didn’t. I borrowed his sign and hung it on my heart instead. I had the sick feeling that I had cashed in something precious for something cheep.

    Never again.
